The Doc said it was ok
So I'm back. I can say I missed reading your blogs but didn't miss taking the time to make my own posts. I'll be catching you up on our last month.... slowly. I think I'll start with my big 3-0 Birthday at Disneyland.
So we drove down on Frid. night March 27th and stayed with Bogie and Becca in Riverside. They were so hospitable they gave up their own bed and bathroom for us! We had fun catching up with them. Then Sat. morning we got up early and of course made our 1st stop Starbuck's! Then it was off to Disneyland for my free ticket and a day of celebrating. Our 1st ride was Nemo. As the day progressed we realized this was not the best day to be at Disneyland. We have never been there with that many people. It was spring break for some and there was a cheerleading competition in town. Our walks around the park consisted of getting through the crowd to make it to our next destination. We do give props to Disney for crowd control. The longest waits were only an hour and we were able to fast pass the long rides, so we never waited in line more than 30 min. The high-light of the day was dinner at the Blue Bayou Restaurant in Pirates of the Caribean. It was awesome food and we got to sit right by the water. The Fireworks show was extra spectacular too! We drove home late Sat. night.
