Back to the 80's!

So last night we partied like it was 1988! We were part of a surprise birthday party for our friend Blake. It was a progressive, 80's, Murder Mystery Dinner. We started out at the 1st house for appetizers and our 1st round of "clues". I was El Vampira aka Elvira. There was Polly Abdul, Debbie Lipson, Danny Son, Nork from Pork, We Pee Herman, Spunky Brewster and the list of 80's celebrities goes on. Our next house was dinner and "the murder". Finally at our last stop we enjoyed dessert and everyone's "confessions". Lindy Lauper ended up being the real murderer. It was such a fun evening and everyone went all out for their characters.

Picture Perfect

So since this is my blog I am going to be selfish and make this post of my new favorite pic. My dad did a fall photo shoot for us in Shaver 2 weeks ago so that we could get a Christmas card pic. There are lots of cute pics that I will post later, but for now this is my favorite!

Walking with our toy

Cooper is getting quite proficient at walking across the living room with his little toy. He can walk behind it, in front of it and alongside it. It's good practice for him. He is really close to walking on his own, but it's going to be on his terms!

Happy Election Day!

Coop and I went for a walk today. It has been a long time since I have been out excercising and this beautiful weather was calling my name. It was sunny but quite chilly and windy. I was so excited to put this cute beanie on Coop and he kept it on. He really enjoyed getting out and seeing things around the neighborhood. It was so refreshing!

Tonight I did my citizen duty and voted. I won't tell you who, or what I voted for or against but as my sticker says I VOTED. So that means I can complain. My rule is you can't complain if you don't vote. Poor Dave, he couldn't vote. For some reason Dave and Amanda Lebda got un-registered since the last presidential election 4 years ago. Luckily for me, Amanda Quaid is still registered so I was able to vote as Amanda Quaid/Lebda. We're not sure how this happened but we will be sure to re-register before the next election.
